Hello and Welcome to the ntámłqən Community Band School, in the heart of the Similkameen Valley.
My name is Stuart Krestell and I'd like to personally welcome you and your family to the Lower Similkameen Indian Band's school. ntámłqən is a community school; it belongs to the community, the elders, the families, the students, and the ancestral heritage of the area. I am privileged and humbled to work here. Each day I am surrounded by the beauty of the landscape, energized by our magnificent students, and supported by our capable and compassionate staff members.
It is my goal to ensure that our Community Band School maintains its focus on Language & Culture while meeting the curriculum standards for British Columbia. It is our mission to prepare and educate our students to move successfully onto higher learning.
I encourage you to reach out to us and see how ntámłqən can impact your child(ren)'s learning and development. We offer small class sizes, caring staff members, support of many second-level services, bussing, a meal program, and many other features unique to our school only.
